Richard Florida, author of Who’s Your City, has put together a wealth of online information on the advantages of particular regions. The tool I found most useful as I choose the location of my graduate education is the Place Finder. The Place Finder will gauge your perception of each city you would potentially consider moving to (and even help you decide which cities to list).

The Place Finder told me I would be happy in Charlotte, should definately consider moving to Austin, probably consider moving to Portland or Seattle and  probably not consider moving to Boston.

Threadless has won me over into buying a shirt today with the printing of the Hooray for Cryptozoology design. It is an amazing display of all the key mysterious animals of the world and I simply have to be able to wear those animals on my person. But why should I be excited about this shirt?

Back in high school I had to write a research paper my senior year and I chose to write my research paper on “A Career as a Cryptozoologist”….one of my favorite blogs is Cryptomundo… I listen with avid ears every week to Mysterious Universe…. I own Bigfoot’s autobiography... so how can I not be required to own this?
