It has been a busy week for me and the only shot I was going to have at early voting was a small window of time after I woke up Saturday morning and before I headed down to Quail Hollow for the Wachovia Championship. That small window of time wasn’t nearly enough.

As I pulled into the nearest early voting station, the University City Library across from the Promenade, I was met with a line of about 600 people! The line was so long that it extended past the “no campaign zone” and campaign workers were engaging the members in the line.

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait in line and I found out later that some of my friends waited more than 3 hours in line to cast their ballot! I’ll try again on May 6th although I know the line will likely be just as long.
